MRATC TRAIL WORK:
The club has ended our regular weekly group maintenance season. We will go out if a trail issue that is reported suggests a need (mratcinfo@gmail.com).

Attached photo shows the RX Fire Crew, who have been doing a lot of chainsawing on our trail -section to widen the trail further after it was cut through last year.

MRATC HIKES:
WEEKLY FRIDAY HIKE
Jan. 16th --- We will hike from Damascus to the TN state line. It is approximately 3.5 miles to the line where we will break for lunch. It is a moderate climb . Total out and back is 7 miles. We will take breaks along the way as needed. Please bring lunch, water, rain or cold weather gear, and poles are recommended. Please watch for updates due to inclement weather. Abingdon Hikers meet at Lowe’s at 9AM. All others meet at the Caboose in Damascus at 9:15.
