Campfire ban: The Forest Service has issued a campfire ban for the Mt. Rogers High Country from Beech Mtn. Rd. (Rte. 601) to Massie Gap in Grayson Highlands State Park. This is a permanent ban to protect sensitive resources, not a temporary seasonal restriction.
