About the event
The group will meet at Elk Garden and shuttle up to the Whitetop AT lot. We'll work on the section from the Whitetop AT lot to Elk Garden. The upper (southerly) portion of this section has been getting more sunlight since Helene and foliage along the trail is thriving. We will use loppers and shears to try and trim back some of the recent growth.
