About the event
Laurel Fork Falls is a well traveled out and back hike of 4.7 miles total. The blue blazed 501 trail from the parking lot meets up with the AT trail about 1 mile in to ascend to the water falls. The trail is considered moderate with some flat walking along the water and steps leading up and down along the way. There is some rock scrambling, especially as we near the falls. Bring lunch, water, poles and rain gear. Hike leader is Carol Keene.
