About the event
6 miles in and out on the AT, from Low Gap (US 421) towards Damascus. We will hike 3 miles in, find a place to have lunch, and turn around. Fast hikers can continue to Abingdon Gap Shelter and turn around, for a total of about 9 miles.
Meet at Lowe’s at 8:30 or at Low Gap at 9:15. Bring poles, lunch, rain gear, and dress in layers.
