About the event
Hikers join us for a moderate 6 mile hike that will take us along the southern part of the AT detour that resulted due to the damage from Helene. Your hike leader will be joined by other MRATC trail monitors to be your guide as well as point out areas of concern on the trail that a monitor would report back to the trail supervisor. It can be a fun hike, as well as give hikers an opportunity to see how easy it is to volunteer.
